Cutting Edge Orthopedics || Dr. Sydney Pardino, M.D.

Who is Dr. Sydney Pardino?

“A body in motion stays in motion”

As the very foundation of Dr. Pardino’s approach with his patients, this mantra upholds the belief that a person who is willing to add even a small amount of physical activity to his/her typical day can greatly decrease the chances of chronic illness or pain. Through this, he places the power of wellness back into the hands of the patient.

At his private practice in Palm Desert, CA, he is pleased to be able to offer a place where patients can come for compassionate care and expert advice, with no facility fees for office visits. Dr. Pardino is proficient in the Spanish language, and is one of the rare orthopedic physicians in the area treating young children.

Nationally-renowned in the Field of Sports Medicine

Dr. Pardino has a national reputation for orthopedic excellence through his work with the NFL and NBA. He worked with the 2010 NFL Champions, New Orleans Saints, and the NBA’s New Orleans Hornets.

Helping Patients Embrace More Active Lives

He works with athletes and non-athletes alike, offering treatment to any individual suffering from musculoskeletal injuries or pain. Dr. Pardino is known for his cutting-edge techniques and rapid-recovery outcomes, especially with knee, hip, and shoulder procedures.

Dr. Pardino specializes in both non-operative and operative treatment of sports injuries, arthroscopic surgery, shoulder replacement surgery, hip arthroscopic surgery for femoroacetabular impingement and labral tears, and fracture surgery. With any procedure and especially when surgery is recommended, Dr. Pardino effectively communicates with his patients to ensure that they understand their condition, causes and treatment options.

Throughout his years as an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Pardino has worked with a wide range of symptoms and a variety of physical issues from a diverse population. He sees his patients first and foremost as human beings, with an inherent right to dignity, compassion, and respect. Dr. Pardino sees great value in listening to his patients, and he believes that the patient knows him or herself best, and that the patient can often provide the missing link that is sometimes overlooked in diagnosis.

“Perhaps the most important part of an accurate diagnosis,” he explains, summarizing his personal mission statement, “is taking the time to know and listen to the patient, and hear their story.”
